Mr. Waldron first encountered llie legend of Richard Harding Davis in tlie reminiscences of a night city editor on tlic Newark, New Jersey, Star Ledger , for which he was a specialfeatures writer, rewrite man, and statehouse correspondent before he accepted his current position as a si/iff writer for the Institute of Life Insurance in New York City.
