Nina Khrushcheva is a professor of International Affairs at The New School in New York and a contributing editor at Project Syndicate: Association of Newspapers Around the World. Her work has appeared in Newsweek, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Financial Times, among others. She is also the author of In Putin’s Footsteps, Imagining Nabokov and The Lost Khrushchev.
Khrushcheva was born in Moscow, Russia, and is the great-granddaughter (and adoptive granddaughter) of former Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev.
