James G. Randall

James G. Randall (1881–1953) was a professor of history at the University of Illinois. He was a nationally prominent historian and served as president of the American Historical Association. His masterwork was the four-volume biography, Lincoln, the President.

Other books by Prof. Randall included The Confiscation of Property During the Civil War, Constitutional Problems under Lincoln, The Civil War and Reconstruction, and Lincoln and the South.
