George B. Tindall


George B. Tindall, professor of history at the University of North Carolina, is the author of South Carolina Negroes, 1877–1900 . He is now working on The Emergence of the New South, 1913–1946 , last of the ten-volume A History of the South (Louisiana State University Press).
