Chase Brush is the Managing Editor at American Heritage. He joined the magazine's staff in 2019 as an Assistant Editor, when he was a fellow with the Poynter Institute, a yearlong leadership program for early-career journalists, during which he helped grow American Heritage's social media presence and revamp its subscriber newsletters.
As a multimedia journalist, Brush's work has appeared in publications like The New York Observer, The Kathmandu Post, and Outside Magazine. He obtained his MA from the Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and his BA in philosophy from Rutgers University.
